It's not in your house.
I see some beginning prospectors buy a bag of concentrates, and complain about the amount of color in the bag.
I'm not sure, but,it seems that if someone wants to pan gold, they should go to where there is moving water,as in
a river,creek,spring,brook,or even a lake out feed.Prescott, Az.has a small lake called,"Gold Lake,"and it does
have gold in the tiny creek that feeds it,I took my late wife and her son there, and yes,we found some color.
There are places like that everywhere, well, just about everywhere, just go to your local library and do some research.
Better yet, look on line for the BLM website,or go to the state forest service office and buy a map. There a couple
websites that are very good,Dig is one, they have maps of old mining sites, lobe, and placer claims, with your newly
gained should be able to figure out where to go.
The important thing is too get out of the house and enjoy the natural beauty of the area you live in.I will not say
where to go,most of my information is from decades of panning now and then, not a fill time job,a hobby.
Please pick up all your trash, and take it home to put in your garbage can,no one likes to find trash on a beautiful
creek or river.
Go to a spot you think will be fun, collect a bucket of concentrates, take them home and take time going through them.
Gold is a beautiful mineral, but you will not make a living from panning,I guess some YouTubers make some money
with the videos they make. Most of us just go until our back says stop,it's a hobby, not a career.
